After having graduated from Psychology (specialty: Applied Psychology) at Jagiellonian University, Krakow, Poland, I joined a EU-funded research-training network INTACT (Marie Curie Program; MRTN-CT-2006-035988). As a phd student and a junior researcher I used to work at Rudolf Magnus Institute, UMC Utrecht and Rintveld Eating Disorders Centre, Altrecht, in Zeist.

My phd thesis focuses on genetic association studies in anorexia nervosa, with particular attention to genes related to dopaminergic functioning. Professional interests include genotype-phenotype relationships in psychiatric disorders; analysis of genome-wide association studies; psychological aspects of eating disorders; CBT, mindfulness and integrative approaches in psychotherapy.
