Alberte Jansingh completed her MSc degree in Clinical Psychology at the RuG (University of Groningen) in 1999. Thereafter she completed her education as a HealthCare Psychologist (2002) and Clinical Psychologist (2006). She is an CBT-therapist and supervisor (VGCt). Since 13 years she has been working as a Clinical Psychologist at Altrecht Eating Disoders, Rintveld in Zeist. In these years she has been active in divers teams of the Eating Disorders Department (out- and inpatient service and clinic). She has supervised many pre- and postmaster students.
Integrating research and daily practise is an important aspect of work to Alberte and since 2016 research is a more active part of her work. As a PhD she studies the cost-effectiveness of working with time-limited treatments in the treatment of Anorexia Nervosa. This ZonMw-funded project is a cooperation with GGZ Rivierduinen-Ursula and the Trimbos Institute. Furthermore she studies Shared-Decision-Making in the choice of AN-treatment and the effect of Self-efficacy on the outcome of treatment of Eating Disorders.
